Show off your kit that is custom made. Doesn't matter what it is; brush, razor, scuttle, etc. Lets see it and give appreciation to the finely skilled artisans who make them for us.

At the moment I only have one custom, a brush. This brush was made by Bob Quinn at Elite Razor. The handle material is a swirl of garnet resin & buckeye burl. It's profile is inspired by the Simpson M7. The knot is a Wet Shaving Products HMW (super silvertip) 23mm set at a perfect 50mm.

I will be commissioning more custom work as I am able. It's a fun process & brings the enjoyment of this hobby to a new level.

Now, let's see what customs are in your Nook!

Mike,
What are your thoughts on the Eagle profile? That's one I've considered but haven't been sold on yet.

I find that it's a perfect fit for the way I hold the brush. Very comfortable.

I'll have to work it into the rotation, sad to say it will start at the end of the line.

It's a WSP 2-band knot 23/47.5

I'm pretty sure it's one from his wife! He might not be married if it was a different brand! Shok

Yep, that's one of my wife's. She makes pottery as a hobby and for a little extra cash on the side. So when I heard of scuttles I asked her if she could make one. Now she makes a few at a time and sells them.

(Shameless plug) there's a link in my signature to an album of some of her finished shaving pieces.
