I have been collecting and shaving for a while. All the razors except one came in from the wild. I have one "New" razor. All straights that are shown have been renewed and honed to personal shave ready. The DE's and SE's have been cleaned and are fully usable and have been used. I like to drive so road trips to antique are a way of relaxing. Retired;I have been single for many years. I don't have any other expensive addictions so I can focus upon collecting, renewing, and enjoyment. When I croak, the razors,in great condition, will go into future of shaving.

I'm showing TLOTH this picture.

This makes me feel soooo much better.

I will look like a frugal saint by comparison.

Nice collection!

Hi Johnny,
Thank you!
The shelf has the little ¼" diameter Rare Earth magnets set into ¼" holes in the bottom of it about 2 inches apart, with JB Weld as a glue. Gorilla would work well also.. install them all the same magnetic pole up. That will caue things to stay apart rather than pulling together at the ends.
[Image: S5000001.jpg]That allows me to hang a week's rotation there or to allow a razor to dry before it goes into a coffin. It may work also for shaving brushes if they have a magnet or a steel slug in the top. Some folks do that. It might require the magnet to stick out a bit more.
That is not a long term good idea for horn though as in very high humidity one scale may grow or shrink.
Have fun Guys!
