I own 3 Chubby 2's currently, but density wise they are all more dense than the Rooney 2XL. The Rooney 2XL is not that dense, but that may be the reason why it feels so soft for a 2-Band brush and has very nice flow through.

Density wise, my 3 Chubby 2 rank like this:

Chubby 2 Best, this was a limited edition Best hand picked by Mark from Simpson, so it's probably not like a lot of other Best brushes.......it's velvet soft, dense as he_l and still don't splay and bloom out as much as the 3-Band Super version would have (and I don't enjoy brushes with huge blooms and splays, because I feel they sacrifice the necessary control over the art of face lathering)

Chubby 2 2-Band

Chubby 2 Manchurian, very very close to the 2-Band density wise though

No brush that has passed through my hands except the Rooney Finest has equaled Chubby density. It is very difficult to shape a knot after a certain hair quantity has been reached. It also gets easier the bigger the knot. D01 3 band comes closest.

Haven't had a Chubby 2 band though. But due to the thickness of individual hog badger hairs, you cannot expect the same density as 3 band hair.
