I have completely fallen in love with F/Extra and have totally changed my opinion and think that it's my #1 couldn't live without it aftershave. The performance is unparllelled, I can admit I was wrong in some of my previous thoughts and have been wanting to make this correction post for a while because it's been on my mind. While I still wish the scent lasted a little longer the performance is so good that I don't even mind! I look forward to in the near future when the weather is a little more warm getting the Limon!

Here we go, friend. Did you do the elevator experiment explained below?

This is better. This is more classic, more subtle, more elegant. Ideal for applying generously, and going elegantly dressed with your linen suit to a night of Danzon in Havana, surrounded by females in their majestic caribbean splendor. Or leaving home by morning with a generous application. Go into the elevator of the office with a few ladies. Watch their reaction from the corner of the eye. Ha ha, I have enabled you. I know some of you, guys, are going to do this experiment.

Best thing is as you use them up you can't try new Colors.

My favorites are antesol and F Extra - just great scents.

I figured this was the best place to ask - Do the 1L size bottles come with a reducer or is it just an open top? Could it be used as the main bottle or is it really just meant for decanting into your empty myrsol bottle?

I have Metilsol, but, find it too sweet.  I want to try Formula C.  Hopefully, the scent will last a long time.

Gents, I was about to pull trigger on a few of Myrsol aftershaves but was dissuaded by a friend who mentioned that the longevity might not be good for these. Is it true?

I would like to hear from the actual users if they find the strength weak and if the scent strength is mild.

Also, if I may get top 3 recommendations it will make my job easier to pick up the real stuff.

Thanks in advance.

Jagdeep, the longevity is weak to moderate, but they're aftershaves, not colognes or perfumes. They're supposed to be that way. You can wear the frag of your preference after a while and that's great. Wink

About my recommendations, these would be the Balsamica, Limon and Emulsion( Balm). These are must have.

Own all Myrsol AS splashes.
Great cheap stuff.
Longevity ? 30 minutes

Perfect for me, as I can wear my fragrance du jour shortly after the application

Is the Balsamica a "straight herbal" scent (like essential oils only) or is it a "cologne herbal" scent (like an herbals Fougere, for example TOBS Shaving Shop)?

Me personally, I would say it is more of a herbal style scent with maybe a light cologne undertone. I would be interested to see how others would describe it.

Not sure why my phone is auto-correcting, or as I like to say "auto-INcorrecting", herbal to herbals.

I find Myrsol Agua Balsamico to be very herby, reminds me of roasted lamb. I rather enjoy it, as do my Better Half Smile

Balsamica has a classic Mediterranean scent. It's herbal, I get thyme and lavender mostly. Its pairs nicely with the LPL Traditional for example. I like it, but I wouldn't wear it as a fragrance. But as an aftershave that lasts an hour at best on me, it's nice. I've smelled all the Myrsol aftershaves, I have 4-5 of them. Balsamica has the most unique scent. Some other Myrsols remind me of known aftershaves, like the Floid Vigoroso or Barbon.

Thanks Nick!
(I'm still on the fence, which is fine with me. Other things have my attention at the moment)
