I realize many makers and vendors read the forums. I'd like to suggest that the shaving soap makers offer smaller, sample/travel versions of their offerings. That way, those of us who are more financially challenged than others can sample and try out products more economically. Also, some may just want to try a particular soap or several but not want to commit to having to purchase a full-size/full cost size in fear that they may not like the smell or product. What say you brethren?

There are a few that offer sample size soaps/creams. There are probably more, but for now this is what I can think of.

I agree with Blue Line.

FWIW, there are cream samples available by request to Trumper's in London at their web site (contact us), and also on the web site of D R Harris in London (under shaving creams). I don't think either of the above vendors offer soap samples, which would be great.

I've heard there is a vendor that sells just samples of all kinds of shaving soaps and creams. I don't recall the name but it should be around here somewhere.

Mikes and QCS do offer soap samples. Al's doesn't as all he offers are creams. The following also offer soap samples.

Mystic Water
Mama Bear's
Straight Razor Designs
Kell's Original
The Shave Den

and also Garry's excellent sample shop, previously posted by Michael, for the more hard to find samples from major brands.

Great. Thanks guys. There were more sample offerings than I realized or could find. I'm a newbie, so what else could you expect!

Looks like I'll order a sample kit from Mike's. His items seem to be regarded very highly.

Shoebox has samples of every product in the TOBS line. I've ordered from them before, and they're good people.
