Received this brush from Phil in what I think might be record time before a major holiday. The Vie-Long JL Petree Super Silvertip came in a beautiful box with a plastic cover to protect it when being shipped. I am not the best at evaluating brushes so I will give a very small bit of information about this wonderful brush. First off the knot is 23mm and total length about 4.4". The grip is excellent and very easy to hold. The knot is well packed and very soft to the touch. Surprisingly I lost no hair on my first try. This brush is a lather monster as it created mounds of it with ease. There are definitely brushes that cost a lot more then the JL Petree but none better in my opinion.

I purchased one of the Vie Long beehive brushes from Phil for my Dad and it's his favorite brush. I'm sure these are just as good. Enjoy!

I have a couple of Vie-Long horsehair brushes and they are very good.

That's a great looking brush, Jerry. The handle on it is really interesting. From the angle you took the photo, the handle reminds me of a top hat. Smile

I guess I better get one of these before Phil runs out. Maybe next month when the money comes in.
