Anyone got any Hai Karate? I remember as a young kid watching those ridiculous commercials where the girls are mauling the guy and the voice over guy is strongly urging users to seek self-defense training before wearing it. I always wondered what it smelled like.

I never tried it as I also thought the commercials were stupid. I never had any problems getting the girls wearing good old "Old Spice".

A rather personal question, don't you think?

Those were the days but, I thought that the commericals were funny. A young guy fighting off the young girls.

But, I liked the Old Spice commercials and the product better.

You might find some on the Bay.

I think it was a fresher scent but, nothing like Old Spice.

The Sailor in Old Spice always whistled his tune and had a Woman in every port.

I believe a drug company owns the rights to it but will not allow it to be formulated and produced again. Sometimes bottles come up on Ebay.

Pfizer has the formula and the marketing rights

Hiya,

Well, in the arsenal I have the Hai Karate after shave. The bottle's dated 1966-68 on the label. I also have some Hai Karate Oriental Spice aftershave, dated 1969. That one was made to compete with Old Spice. Plenty of pop left in both of these frags.

If you guys wanna set it up, I'm happy to send out some decent sized decants of each to the whoever you decide on. That person passes it on after a few sprays tried on the face.......that sort of thing.

Let me know if there's any interest.......glad to help.

Martin
