I am not quite sure s to which one is on top, and I am having difficulty discerning the one on the bottom, but the paper towel is definitely Bounty!

And the winner is.......Teiste Cool

I got to be honest, that this Thäter surprised me in a negative way. I specifically ordered the largest 2-Band fan in 26 mm to avoid it having too much of a bloom and splay, and the 28 mm 2-Band in bulb in my 6-way Thäter haul......

But the 26 mm 2-Band Fan almost scared me with it huge bloom and a density almost on par with the Rooney Heritage Stubby 3XL, a 30 mm fan shaped knot.

And I have yet to use the Thäter in the pic, it has only been cleaned and soaked in warm to tepid water for a couple of hours (forgot it)

So it will probably bloom even more once used for the first time tomorrow.
The Rooney 3XL have been used 3 times in its life......

Here is the photo turned a bit:

I have no price for Teiste, although he actually deserves better.....I'll ship him a nice set of Rioja's for his Birthday....... Smile

Guys, why is it that there is some emptyness in the middle/side of these brushes? Is it because of the knot?Confused

While this game is fun, there is very very little to go on from just a top down shot. The only differentiating clues we can use is knot density and if one brush's tips are a significantly different color.

I recommend shooting the brushes from the front, raising the shorter brush so the bottom of the knot is the same. Crop off the handle. Then informing us of the diameter of the knot. Could still include the top down shot for more clues too.

Easy regarding the brand - THIERS ISSARD !!!

Genuine horn two to the left, genuine wood to the right.

Regarding the maker, not so easy....in fact a puzzle Huh

Thiers Issard do not make their own badger hair brushes.......for sure !!

Who makes Thiers Issard current badger hair brushes.....

My guess is crazy all over the place.......mine came in a box that had the same slipper as all my Simpsons, so Vulfix and Mark could just be making the hair for this geunine Horn and wood brush.....

But I also suspect Plisson could do that.......and why not Lee Sabini Tongue
The Thiers Issard Super Extra Dense 3-bnad hair sort of feels like a dense Simpson Best hair in quality.....but could also be a dense Rooney/M&F best type of hair - but of the highest best hair quality available.

Sherlock Holmes, please help us Tongue

Lee S ?
Mark ?
Anyone out there Wink
