I've been a member for some time, but a bit inactive as of late. I was a member of another forum, now seemingly defunct, with many of the folks here. I was known as gundog1 over there, but my real name is Bill.
It's quite remarkable what Phil and all of you have grown this site. It looks like the premier shaving forum at the moment... A nice look, nice feel and a plethora of good information!
I'd like to remain active as a member (I still do shave!Biggrin), but I don't know how often I'll post...

I'm an old curmudgeon, and when I get settled in to a place, it takes a bit of the wind out of my sails when that place just disappears.

So, a big hello to a few old friends.. Phil, Freddy, Bob, Teiste, José, and many others.. I hope an old friend from Wales is here, as I've tried to catch up with him and failed, and I miss his posts.. as I do all of you.

Warmest regards to all,

Bill

Bill, welcome back to The Shave Nook and "old" friends. If I'm not mistaken, I purchased a bottle of Pitralon Classic from you on that other site.

Hi there, Bill! Great to hear from you again, my friend! Remember the spare Pitralon? Wife still loves it.
Your SOTD's were always interesting, so please continue them here!

Thanks to all.. Old friends and new!

And to Johnny and Phillips.. Yes, I remember the Pitralon. Funny how that all came about, but I still have mine and a spare bottle. I use it with soaps that I think it goes well with. Speick seems to be the best match for me.. but, there it is.

Thanks again for the warm (re)welcome!

P.S.

A belated Merry Christmas back to my old pal Bob, and to everyone!!

Bill, it is so incredibly good to see you here at The Shave Nook. I think of you each time I splash my face with some Pe Re Ja. It's still in my cologne/EdT rotation and I enjoy it as much as ever.

As you have noticed, all of your old friends from the other site have migrated over here plus you'll have the opportunity to meet some great new folks; I know I have.

Again, welcome and enjoy your stay. Smile
