Now how do I express my unhealthy love of a certain brush company?

Well that sign is worth more than $33 for sure, beautiful condition. Why not get Gixen for $6 a year and you could have put on a snipe of $100 or so and had a better chance.

I would check with the seller and see if they have another one, sometimes they do. Also just shoot them a note saying if the buyer doesn't step forward you'll take it.

Gixen is free. I've never run into any issues with the free version. Sure, backup mirrors are great and all, but I don't see that I'll ever actually need something being sold on ebay auction.

I saw it too. I had the feeling it wasn't an actual Simpson product though, but a store card advertising Simpson brushes; but sure, I thought about it...of course I thought about it!. The dimensions are small-ish...had you noticed? Nice in a little frame, I think. The same seller had some wonderful objects including a genuine British art nouveau-design cylinder of shaving soap dating from what I estimated to be circa 1895. Forgot about it though. Sigh

Thanks for the advice -- honestly, though, if it got much higher than it did, it'd cut too much into my shave bush budget. Tongue

I realize Gixen is free but I view the $6 as a contribution to the running of a great site which I have used for years. I believe it was for a time a one man operation that needed a little funding.

P.S. Just got one of your HMW brushes over the holidays. You should be proud to be able to produce that. Awesome brush.Smile
