feels much much smaller than my chubby 3 Manchurian.

I probably shouldn't have started out with a chubby 3 Manchurian. most everything else feels miniature.

Beautiful, Saif Cool

You made Lee find one with Finest hair too, just like my 2 I got last week.

What specs did you order this brush in ?

Loft ?
Knot ?
Handle height ?
Looks fan hybrid bulb shaped to me......

My guess would be:
Knot: 28 mm
Loft: 48 mm
Handle height: 45 mm

Nice brush for sure and nice pics from inside your Porsche Cool

I'm done with my larger than 28-29 mm knot brushes......

They are sold now Smile
Down to 46 now from 58 badgers Biggrin

That's a beautiful brush. I have one just like it, and I love it. There's just nothing else that feels like a Finest.

Obviously there are variations within a grade of hair from batch to batch, but has anyone done a side by side comparison of the current M&F Finest along side an older Rooney Finest or even it's precursor, Lee Sabini's Olde Apothecary Shop Finest? It would certainly make for an interesting review.

I was fortunate enough to be able to experience the old Carter era Simpsons Manchurian along side the current Post Vulfix Simpsons Manchurian and I'm hoping someone can share a similar experience with Rooney Finest...

I'm not trying to derail Saif's thread in fact I'm hoping he might have a Rooney to compare.

Regardless, and every pun intended that is sure a FINE looking brush! Tongue

It is a gorgeous brush, atop a fine steering wheel to boot! Is that the Porsche from the avatar?

I'm not exactly sure to be frank. Hopefully Amir will chime in Wink
This isn't my Porsche. This is my new Nissan Patrol.

Haha was good. I think my bathroom's ventilation is too efficient. Dries up lather way too fast.

It wasn't as opulent as the Chubby 3. I think I've spoiled it for myself. I now, subconsciously, compare everything to the chubby 3 in Manchurian. Obviously most will pale in comparison. But this is only from a single shave. I'm sure other features will emerge from the 2XL.

Good question really.
Alas I do not have another Rooney to compare.

The Porsche from the Avatar is this one: Its a 2009 911 Turbo - I sold it a while ago.

If you can get the Porsche back... I propose a swap, so you can test drive one of my Rooney Finest and I can get behind the wheel of such a fine automobile just once in my lifetime... ! Biggrin

The QX80 interior isn't nearly as nice as the Patrol.
