LOVE the look of that Tulip. Somerset too? Or at least pre-Vulfix? Or is that the same thing?

Looks Post Vulfix to me with just some letter fading in the engraving.

Pre Vulfix, Cater era and Somerset are important differences in Simspons' evolution, perhaps more so in terms of company ownership, factory location etc (although there are also observable differences in the brushes from the different eras too), but the one thing that endures is fabulous brushes...

As for the brushes on offer today, that hybrid looking Duke Best is IMO one of Simpsons' best all round performers and the Tulip with it's more bulbous shape is simply a beautiful brush not only in terms of from, but also function (such as the lip that keeps the lather off the handle...)
