Having stayed in a number of Hotels with magnifying shaving mirrors, I feel I need to purchase one. So my question is, what mirrors have you used and any recommendations?

I just buy whats on sale, for me the lighting in the room matters more than a mirror.

My wife got me this one for Christmas. It works fine and is large enough. I found MUCH more expensive ones when she told me to hunt for what I wanted, but this seems to be a nice unit so far. Frankly, I don't think the similar mirrors for hundreds more weren't appreciably different from what I saw in the photos, they just cost more.

One side is just a flat mirror, flip it over and you have the 7x magnifier.

I have a FRÄCK from IKEA, and it works just great - one side plain, the other magnifies 2.5 times. Like that I can move it in and out as needed to see pretty much anywhere I need to see.

For that price I will have to get one.

I like the Frack too. And I might get one.

However, you will have to see if they have one that you can use in a Hotel.

Sorry I can't help as I've only used the mirror hanging on the wall, whether at home or in a hotel.

The LILLHOLMEN uses the same mirror s the FRÄCK, but is portable - the Better Half uses one for putting on make-up.

I have an antique mirror that came out of a barber shop from the 1940-1950's era. It works perfect and offers the standard and magnified mirrors with a quick flip!
