I'm not one to normally go about introductions on forums as I tend to only post sporadically, but I was told on this thread that I ought to, so who am I to argue?

I have seen this forum before, but was formally introduced by member "Dave" who found me on another forum desperately seeking to buy a Weber DLC. Very thoughtful of him to point me this way where I was able to purchase one in the selling/trading forum.

Been wetshaving since about 2007 when I stocked up on way too much product. I have used about 1/4 of that at this point and I kind of got over the acquisition disorder for a while until all of the sudden last month I got the urge to get back into exploring wetshaving again. Now I've bought two new brushes and two new razors in the last three weeks. Hoping to reign in my spending and I figure that this is a good place for support in NOT buying more shaving stuff, right? ....right?

It's great to have you in the Nook! What were your recent acquisitions besides the Weber?

My spending has still been relatively modest so far:
  • Bakelite slant (just days before they went out of stock) in a kit w/ a Razorock alum and S Maria cream
  • shavemac 25000 21mm
  • Simpsons Wee Scot

Good to see an Aussie here. I lived in and around Melbourne for a while so I have a soft spot for anything (and anybody) Australian Smile
