The powder was Pinaud Clubman talcum powder. Great stuff and smells just like the original clubman AS.

Notice, no cleanup with a Mach 3, the fella didn't even wince when he put the AS on either. Makes me wanna get a Parker again and give it another shot!!

His shop is close to where I live. I have never been in there but this video makes me want to stop in and get a cut and shave.

Excellent Video! I'm not that far, being in Southern NH, I'm no more than 45 to 60 minutes from his shop. I may have to take a ride some Saturday morning for a cut and shave. I've never had a barbershop shave & I think I might enjoy it. Hmmm...

Thanks again for posting the video Johnny!

Really nice video, just imagine how better his shave would have been if he was using a Feather Artist club - SS. Biggrin

Cool video, but why was he using a shavette?

He could've at least invested in a Kai or Feather. If a local barber offered straight razor shaves then pulled that thing out, I would seriously get up and walk out.

I realize in some states that you're not allowed to use traditional straight razors out of health concerns, but if you go through all of the hoopla of hot towels, pre-shave oil and mixing up lather with a brush in a handmade bowl only to use a cheap shavette, well you suck.
