In this video I show how easy it is to make lather , with a small quantity of the Martin de Candre shaving soap.
In the first segment of the video , I'm using the Martin de Candre scented shaving soap and the Semogue 830 boar brush.
In the second segment , I'm using the Martin de Candre unscented shaving soap and the Wet Shaving Products "The Monarch" super badger two band brush.

VIVE Martin de Candre !!! Biggrin

Another great video Teiste! Keep up this pace and you will pass up Mantic59 for most shaving videos on YouTube.

Looks great as always T. Though I do believe that WSP brush is a Monarch, not a Prince.

That was an awesome Video T! I love both brushes! Your water in SLC must be much softer than Mine! Biggrin It takes me about twice as long to make lather, but I can make lather with just about any soap.

Great video and music!

Great video Teiste. It is amazing how much later you can generate with just a few swirls on the puck of the MdC. I wonder how much soap you would need with a large dense brush like the CH3? My assumption would be very little loading time even with that brush. Anyone out there with a Chubby 3 and MdC?

That's a great idea to load the brush with the jar upside down. Keeps the label in pristine condition. Definitely doing this with my next jar. I can see me explaining to my wife "but honey I need a new jar just look at that ragged old label".

Thanks for the great video Teiste and a new idea on how to hold the jar. Like Fourcooks said, that would have saved the label better.

Nice one, Teiste. You must have the most exfoliated face on the forums with all these lathering videos!

I think I have been loading too much MdC on my brush all this time.

Wait, too much MdC? Nah! Can't have too much of a good thing like MdC!

Great video and music!

Its quiet hard , actually , but Martin de Candre is so easy to lather , as you can see on the video.

Thanks Teiste.

But did my eyes deceive me or did you really only load the brush for less than 8 seconds only?

Why am I loading for 30 to 45 seconds and I use distilled water too.
