I got this some while a go and was wondering what it was used for?
It has a shop makers mark inside the case of John Freston & Co, St Albans, Herts. England. It seems very well made and unused.
Sat next to a USA Aristocrat for comparison.

I've wondered for awhile... why would one need a special razor just for a mustache? Doesn't that part get shaved adequately by a regular razor, right along with everywhere else?

i think it was used to get a linear-lined moustache like some gents used in the by-gone days; small line near the lip; i presume.
