My wife just admitted to me that Floid Blue is an aphrodisiac to her.

I'll be bathing in the stuff from now on....

Be careful though, it could be like an antidote, once she gets used to it... Biggrin

It is one of the only AS Ive used that my wife has commented favorably on as well, as to aphrodisiac well.... hey .... were both approaching 59 years old so I will take whatever I can get Tongue.

I did see that it is supposed to be resurrected with a slight bottle design change. But I have yet to see any North American stockists yet. I haven't looked extensively though.

If your going to bathe in it you might need to locate a source and when you do, be sure to let us know.

Can you folks tell me if this really smells like a refined Aqua Velva ? I seem to have read that somewhere. And does it have a mild menthol chill ? I like AV Iced blue I just don't like a massive dose of it, As strong scents really get to me.

Thanks

I find it quite different and much better than AV myself. It is very hard to describe, but to me it definitely smells more natural, less sweet, and not nearly as overwhelming with alcohol smell as AV is.

All I can say is that I can tolerate AV but I crave Floid Blue.

I really believe that the basis for the perceived relationship of the two is probably brought on by the similarity in color, but as always smell is an extremely personal sense and YMMV.

If I were a betting man I would bet that you would love Floid Blue.

Oh my goodness don't let Johnny read this. Honest Johnny he didn't mean it! Biggrin
Maybe in a very vague way, they are both blue and Floid smell way better. I don't like AV at all but love the Blue. Oh yeah and Semogue (Thanks Johnny)

There are a few similarities but they really can't be compared. I do enjoy AV but Floid Blue is in another hemisphere. If you haven't tried it you owe it yourself.

Thank you all for the replies ! It looks like I will have to give it a whirl, since Phil has it listed now. I guess it will have to displace my Tullamore dew in the travel kit since it is 400mlBiggrin

I'll agree, my wife loves Floid Blue! If I open the cabinet, and tell her to pick one, she usually reaches for the blue.
