I have tried several rose soaps samples, have enjoyed them. What other rose soaps are there that are worth trying.

It's too bad D.R. Harris doesn't make a Rose soap. I have a bowl of GFT Rose which I like. I also just found an old shave stick of QED Rosie which I plan to melt into a mug and begin using again. I don't think I've used that one in over a year.

Hi Brad

Which ones have you sampled?

Also are you only interested in shaving soaps? Or are creams and/or croaps acceptable as well?

If you haven't seen the following thread, you may wish to browser it, Best Rose shaving cream from the UK brands.

Take care, Mike

GFT Rose is the only rose scented soap I've tried other than blends like MNS Sandalwood and Rose.

I've tried more rose scented creams...

Trumpers Rose is the only Trumper soap that I continue to like. I've moved more towards DRH, Mike's, MWF, MdC, & croaps. Creams are nice, but loading is weird for me. Very liquidy.

Mike's Rose & ______ is amazing. Great scent. I truly love it. Lathering is a bit of a learning curve, but the lather is excellent.

Hi Brad

In addition to Mike's Natural Rose & Cedarwood soap I can recommend Ginger's Garden Handmade, Artisan Soft Solid Shaving Soap (Midnight Rose and Mystic Rose are both excellent, plus there are other Rose scents to choose form) and Prairie Creations Tallow & Lanolin Shave Soap (Rose scent).

In shaving creams I can recommend, Rose Of Bulgaria, DR Harris Rose, GEO F Trumper Rose, Taylor of Old Bond Street Rose and Truefitt & Hill Rose.

If you're interested in trying all of the above shaving creams (except the DR Harris) drop me a PM with your address, I'll then get samples of each of them in the post to you.

Take care, Mike

I think I'll be checking these out when I'm done with the restraint.

How is the lather, Mike?

Hi Michael

Once I worked out the correct amount of product to use and dialed in the water ratio (shaving soaps were new to me 6 months ago) I've been rewarded with dense, slick lather, with very good stability...

Take care, Mike

I have to chime in, "Rose of Bulgaria" is fantastic as a shave cream. I hear that the aftershave is also great! Rose Otto which is a different and stronger scent than we call Rose.
[Image: attachment-2.jpg] I borrowed the photo from a guy that won't mind!
Youu can Google Rose of Bulgaria and go to shopping for the best deals. One is a Badger brush, cream, and aftershave. Unbelievable!

Trumpers Rose, its a dry deep earthy rose... I haven't tried Mike's, but really I don't see the point.... I need to try his Peppermint and Rosemary first though....
