Wish I had 800 bucks to spare to buy a 3D printer... and preferable 4-5 hours free each day to play with it.

All kidding aside, I'm not sure how I would feel about the ability to do that but I suppose it's coming. Hmm

I know nothing about 3D printing, but I've imported your STLs into Sketchup (you need a plug-in to do that). Now I'll play with it a little Smile)

What about making a Merkur?

We have a 3D printer at my house. I wanted to build a razor but, the quality with the printer just isn't there yet. They do firmware updates on it like every week.

The newest printers - like the Solidoodle 3 - are getting down to 0.1mm resolution, which might be good enough for a hobbyist making razors... probably not quite there for a professional product though.
