SOLD

Hi Gents:

Today I am selling a beautiful 27mm QED model QS124 silvertip brush with a genuine horn handle. The nominal knot size is 25mm, but this one is 27mm. The loft is 54mm and the handle height is 50mm. The hair is wonderfully soft and the knot has very nice density. It is a genuinely luxurious brush. I believe the knot is from Kimson, who, IMHO, makes the best 3-band knots on the planet. The handle is grey genuine horn with greenish overtones.

Anybody who is considering a Kent BK8 should forget about it and buy this brush instead - the hair is noticeably softer and the knot noticeably denser than the Kent's - and the smaller bloom makes it easier to control.

I am selling this brush because I have a larger one from the same manufacturer and decided I don't need two of them.

This brush retails for $110. Your price, including conus shipping, is $80. REDUCED TO $72.50

I have this same brush and Bob is right - very luxurious but with enough backbone to use with soaps or creams. Those badgers sure do have soft tips! Biggrin Good luck!

I know QED also sells Saville Row brushes, which are incredibly soft. Any idea how this brush compares in feel? Is it the same SR knot in a horn handle?

Michael, first of all - good seeing you! Biggrin I can't confirm this but now that you mention it, I'd be willing to bet the knots are the same or at least in the same class. I used to own a SR 31 series and it was incredibly soft and IMO felt the same!

I guarantee that it is at least as good. For my money (obviously), this is the best 3-band knot on the market.
