I had a problem when trying to get a good lather with C&E Sienna soap. All efforts were bowl lathering with a Body Shop synthetic brush. I first loaded for approx. 30 seconds, then 45 seconds and 60 seconds figuring more product would help. All three times I used a medium amount of water, letting the brush drip and adding small amounts at a time. Each time the lather appeared dull and "light", never thick.
In between I lathered MWF and Kiss My Face with very good success, both times getting thick and creamy lather.
I remembered the review by Teiste about the West Indian Lime soap and decided to check the ingredients.
What's listed on the box does not match what I've found online so it appears the formulation may have changed. The ingredients are very close to what's listed for the West Indian Lime. No Castor oil but the rest are very close.

I've Nomad and Sandalwoood. I like the former's smell. They provide a decent lather - nothing spectacular.

They performed, and smelled, bad enough as it was.

Did they really feel the need to go and make it worse?

I have a puck of Nomad I purchased last week but haven't used yet. I can check the ingredients on that when I get home. But when I was in the store, Nomad was all they had. Maybe the others were missing since they were expecting new shipments of the reformulated versions?

Here's an ingredient list off a puck of either the Sandalwood or Sienna I bought about a year ago:

I do enjoy it quite a bit. The Sandal is nice as well ( it's one of my favorite takes on the sandalwood scent in all of shaving products ). It distresses me to hear that the soap base has been reformulated.

I wonder if I can get my hands on a pre-formulation Nomad?

I checked the box of Nomad I bought last week, the ingredients are pretty much the same as this picture.
