Guys

Just curious as to who picked up my LE M7 brush. Not all the M7 styles that have subsequently been made, just the light and dark original versions with my signature on. Would be good to know which number you have.

Thanks

Gary

Gary, I have both the light and dark GYLE brushes.

Although not numbered on the handle like the Jubilee, the boxes I have for the GYLE are marked 10 and 11.

I have a light version, number 36. I love the hair, which I believe is being labeled "Silvertip" in some other limited run Simpsons brushes.

According to the Simpsons website both are sold out, so the B/S/T is really the only option now...

I sold mine a few weeks ago, not quite suited to my style of face lathering, I found mine just a little to soft and a little floppy still a very nice looking brush, I'm thinking if the brush were 2mm shorter in the loft it would have probably been pretty much perfect.

Hi Johnny,

A change is as good as a rest, I've opted for the most famous Samurai warrior ever Miyamoto Musashi, being a Japanophile I thought it would be more appropriate, and I'm sure he would have approved of my vintage Japanese straight razors.

I think you'd come pretty close with a custom M7 in Silvertip.

I got #42. The lighter version. Very nice knot, dense, scrubby but no scritch. I use it frequently considering the size of my rotation... Angel
