Injector Collection
Get, get, get Injected!

Since one of the first safety razors I ever received was an Injector from my grandfather (Schick I1) I've had an affinity for them. However, it wasn't until I found some Chinese Schick blades that I really found out how great these can shave. Yes, the Chinese Schicks completely out performed my Ted Pella injector blades for me (insert obligatory YMMV here).

Today I received my 4th injector thanks to a great PIF from our very own Churchilllafemme (John) & decided to share some pictures of my ever growing injector family. I hope all the other Injected Nook members will share there family photo as well.

The family together: L1, I1, E2, I2

The E2, my favorite so far but don't tell the others

My grandfather's I1, just love it!

The long handled L1. Trying to get my wife to use it

And the newest addition, the I2 HydroMagic

RE: Injector Collection
You need to get in on the Schick Adjustable World Tour. It's changing hearts and minds all across the world (and the state of Tennessee)

RE: Injector Collection
I thought about it Dave. However, I'm on the hunt for an adjustable injector already so I'll let those who aren't sure give it a try. I already know that I want one & will have one.

RE: Injector Collection
Brian, I have two, an E and an I-2 HydroMagic. The E gives incredible shaves while the HydroMagic is just meh. The one positive of the HydroMagic is the ability to rinse it out well after a shave.

RE: Injector Collection
Yes Freddy, I agree about the benefit of opening the head. I don't think your E will, but the E2 also opens but in a different way than the HydroMagic. I get great shaves fro my I1 & I've heard that the I2 HydroMagic is a little more aggressive so I may like it a bit more. I keep hearing that the E-G types are the most aggressive & they generally get milder as they are newer.

Unfortunately, no, my E doesn't open. It is definitely more aggressive than the HydroMagic, at least for me. If I could get either an adjustable or an E-2 that opens for a price that I could afford then I would definitely be interested.

RE: Injector Collection
Here are my injectors, a Pal Adjustable and a bunch of Schicks: J1, I2 Hydro-Magic, G6, E2, E5, L1, M1 Adjustable, and J3 Golden 500 Hydro-Magic. The only ones I've tried so far are the E2 and the M1.

RE: Injector Collection
It's easy to get carried away with this when the razors can be found for $10-30 each.

RE: Injector Collection
I've had mixed feelings on injector razors. While I'm not yet satisfied with the shave they give and have been passively trying to sell them, the collector in me is kicking in more and I'm thinking of holding on to them and trying again. So here are mine:

Schick I1 and the Schick L2: Schick Stick.

The real "business end" to the L2

Unfortunately the I1 has slightly bent, leaving it unshaveable. Hopefully I can fix it some day.

RE: Injector Collection
When I started this money saving hobby I obtained every injector I could get by Pal,Personna,Schick,Gillette and even a gold plated special edition. The only Schick I do not have is the one that the handle opens like a scissor thus releasing the head for cleaning..in my case they are just for display and I never use any of them...guess I should try them out to save even more money ...I also got the original factory blades....so why not give them a shot !!!

ROTFLMAO! As you intended no doubt!

But hey, we'll be doing it our entire lives. I just wish I was younger to ameliorate it over far more years.

Beautiful. Do you plan to use it, or just drool over it?
